According to a report in the Ottawa Sun, hockey hunk Mike Fisher has confirmed that he and country superstar Carrie Underwood are engaged to be married!

"It's true," Mike told reporters before practice with his Ottawa Senators team this morning, adding that he asked the former American Idol the big question on Sunday while Carrie was visiting. "We're both obviously excited and very happy."

Fisher didn't share any further details on the engagement or wedding plans.
