American Idol contestant Casey Abrams was reportedly taken to the hospital last night with severe stomach pains.

TMZ reports that Casey has made it to one of the top 24 spots even though that has not been shown American Idol yet, despite being rushed to the hospital last night.
According to TMZ sources close to the show, the 19-year-old began to feel sick while he was rehearsing at CBS Television City.

So we guess he must move on to the top 24?

Casey was expected to stay in the hospital overnight and possibly longer. But hopefully the singer will be feeling better by the time he is reported to tape a performance on Friday with the top 12 men.
