NEWSCatherine Hardwicke Dishes on Robsten Romance

It's been a big week for Robsten! First Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson were seen holding hands and acting snuggly on their way out of Paris, and now Twilight's director, Catherine Hardwicke, is revealing even more in a new interview in Time. "After I cast him, I told Rob, ' Don't even think about having a romance with her,' " Catherine recalls, adding she warned him, " 'She's under 18. You will be arrested.' "
And while Catherine does admit that she wasn't with them in private moments, it seems she's got a direct source as to what did happen between the two — Kristen herself.
"I didn't have a camera in the hotel room. I cannot say," Catherine says. "But in terms of what Kristen told me directly, it didn't happen on the first movie. Nothing crossed the line while on the first film."

Eventually, however, things seemed to fall in places, Catherine muses.
"I think it took a long time for Kristen to realize, 'O.K., I've got to give this a go and really try to be with this person.' "
And we're glad she did!
