What does it take to make it on The A-List? For Ryan Nickulas, who stars on Logo's hit reality series of the same name, it's his impressive list of clientele as a celebrity hairstylist. He has run his fingers through the tresses of Pamela Anderson, Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola, Aubrey O'Day and Kat De Luna. OK! had the chance to sit down with the hair guru as he helped launch Keratin Complex's new haircare line for spring and summer last week in NYC!

Ryan dished to OK! about the latest hair trends, his favorite celebrity client, and also, which celebrity hair desperately needs his help!

OK!: Tell us about what's really trendy for hair right now.

RN: Right now ombre is still really huge which is really light on the ends and dark roots. Sarah Jessica Parker, Rachel Bilson, Jessica Biel and Cameron Diaz rock it! It gives your hair a break from hair color in a fun, fashionable, trendy, not so perfect way. I love it because it promotes health at the root of your hair.

OK!: Who has been your favorite celebrity client that you've worked with so far?

RN: I’d have to say Pamela Anderson because you really don’t get any bigger of a blonde bombshell. She was so down-to-earth. She put her ipod in and she was like, ‘This is such a mix between Kid Rock’s and Tommy Lee’s music. I, like, stole their ipods.’ It was so surreal. I’m obsessed with her.

OK!: Out of any celebrity that you have not worked with, who would you most like to work with?

MORE ON:
Jennifer Aniston

RN: I’m obsessed with Drew Barrymore. I love her hair. I would love to smooth it out. Sometimes she looks like she could use conditioner. But I love her because she doesn’t have perfect hair. I appreciate the realness of that.

OK!: What do you think of Jennifer Aniston's new 'do?

RN: I think I want to blow the horn on this. When celebrities change their hair, it’s to distract us from some type of alteration they’ve done plastic surgery-wise. And I’m going to call this out and no one has yet! Jennifer Ansiton recently did filler in her face. So what she did was she cut her hair and angled it to cup the fullness of her face. Her filler hasn’t settled. That’s why she cut it.

OK!: Which celebrity do you think needs your help most?

RN: (Britney Spears) needs a good gay in her camp. I don’t think she has a good gay man in her life because if she does, they’re lying to her. I am a big fan. I’ve gone to every concert. I have every album. She is my pop diva. But I would love to do her hair. I would love to help her and give her the confidence to let go of the extensions.

You can catch Ryan work his magic on Logo when the second season of The A-List premieres later this summer.
