
Celebrated 'American Idol' Contestant John Wayne Schulz Has an Album!

It's no surprise that John Wayne Schulz wowed the judges last night on American Idol with his country singing chops — the Texas rancher has already released an album!
The judges finally found a their true Texan cowboy in John Wayne and according to Billboard, the country crooner released an album in 2002, when he was only 14.

His 10-track album — titled Ropin’ Dreams — was released on Texas label BSW Records with tracks called “Angel Things,” “Rockin’ Horse,” “Put a Little Love in That Hurt,” “Love Is on Our Side,” and “Don’t Threaten Me With a Good Time.”
So if he already has a studio album, then why did he decide to take on American Idol?
It was his mother's wish (she recently survived a battle with breast cancer).

And he certainly impressed the judges with "YES" across the board, and Randy Jackson explaining "I really feel you dawg."
