Celine Dione Shuts Down Unflattering Website

They say a picture is worth a thousand words but for superstar performer Celine Dione, no words could amount to the silly pictures a blogger posted of her on a website specifically devoted to this topic. Celione took legal action to force its closure and her attorneys issued a cease and desist order. And cease they did!

According to The Guardian, the site Ridiculous Pictures of Celine Dion, has been officially shut down. Nick Angiolillo, the site's founder explained, "Celine Dione found our blog, and she didn't like it." Claiming a lack of funds, Nick wrote, "though this blog is well within the realm of ‘fair use’, i don’t have the money or time to get a lawyer to respond. the dream is over. thanks for following and being a céline superfan."

Apparently for months he has been posting unflattering photos of Celine encompassing grins, grimaces, smirks and snarls. Just last week he received the letter from her lawyers and although he is not responding other than having removed all of the photos, he plans to frame the letter he received.
