Charles Barkley Dresses in Drag for Weight Watchers

Former basketballer Charles Barkley has lost a ton of weight, so he simply dressed up for a photo to show his slimmer body...as a woman!

For an upcoming Weight Watchers campaign focused on men, Charles dressed up like a woman wearing a halter dress, high heels and, oh, yes — a wig! The spokesperson's commercial will air in early April.

According to RadarOnline, in a press release Barkley stated, "Diet is not a man's word because we don't like to diet - we like to eat." He added, "Like a lot of athletes, I've gained weight since I've retired. But, I don't want to be a fat old man taking lots of pills. Weight Watchers is helping me change my lifestyle and learn how to make smarter eating choices anywhere I am."

A while ago, Charles joked on Saturday Night Live that being a spokesperson for the weight-loss company was "a great scam." Weight Watchers took it in stride and the former NBA star clarified his statement by saying, “I meant what I said. The fact that I’m dropping pounds, getting healthier and getting paid at the same time is my definition of a great scam."

He was quick to point out, "The only problem is I’m going to have to use some of the money to buy a new wardrobe.”
