Patricia Krenwinkel, one of the members of the Charles Manson family who was involved in a series of murders in 1969, including the killing of pregnant actress Sharon Tate, has been denied parole yesterday for the 13th time.
Krenwinkel is now 63, and has been in jail since the killings, reports the Los Angeles Times. At that time, Sharon was married to director Roman Polanski, and was seven months pregnant. She was stabbed 16 times and hanged. Members of the Manson clan, including Krenwinkel, Susan Atkins, Linda Van Houten and others were convicted on seven counts of first-degree murder.
The next time Krenwinkel will be up for parole at the women’s state prison in Corona will be 2018. She’s serving a life sentence for her role in the killings.
