Jan. 20 2010, Published 6:10 a.m. ET
Following a more than rocky aftermath to the Christmas day domestic abuse 911 call placed in Aspen, Charlie Sheen and his wife Brooke Mueller are ready to move on with their lives and move back in together according to new reports.
If the Co. Judge decides to lift Charlie's protective order that was placed upon him after he was arrested for violent behavior towards Brooke in 2009, the Two and a Half Men star wants to head right back to his L.A. home, where his wife is now residing with their twin boys, TMZ reports.

In the meantime, Charlie has been living in a friend’s guest house in the area.
Sources at TMZ confirm that Brooke has been doing her best to cooperate with the police, but she wants the entire investigation to be dropped completely so that she can resume her life with Charlie and children, Max and Bob.
If Brooke decides not to oblige with proceedings during the trial it could end up hurting Charlie, TMZ reports, as the prosecution’s decision can be easily effected when one out of two witnesses isn’t supportive.
