NEWSCharlie Sheen Denied Public Trial in 'Two and a Half Men' Lawsuit

Charlie Sheen has already had his first setback with his Two and a Half Men lawsuit. The actor will have to duel with Warner Brothers and Chuck Lorre in a private showdown, as the judge presiding over the cast has ruled Charlie cannot have a public trial.
The 45-year-old actor is suing the Men creator/producer and Warner Bros. for $100 million.
In the lawsuit, Charlie is demanding he get paid for the eight canceled Men episodes, and he’s also suing on behalf of the cast and crew of the hit CBS sitcom, plus punitive damages, for a grand total of $100,000,000.
Charlie, who is reported to be in "deep negotiations" on his own show, wanted a public trial, but TMZ reports that the judge "just ruled the arbitration agreement in Charlie's contract is legal and binding, so the whole thing will be handled behind closed doors."

A rep form Warner Bros. told TMZ: "We're very gratified by the court's ruling enforcing the parties' arbitration agreement."
The hit CBS comedy will be moving forward with Ashton Kutcher replacing Charlie.
Ashton will not play the character of Charlie Harper, rather a new face that comes into the Malibu pad of Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones' characters.
