Charlie took the stage last night at the 2011 Emmy Awards to present the lead actor award, but before doing so he made a statement about his former role on Two and a Half Men.
"From the bottom of my heart, I wish nothing but the best for this upcoming season," he said (via MTV News). "We spent eight wonderful years together, and I know you will continue to make great television."
And backstage, Charlie continued the love-fest by posing with his replacement, Ashton.
"Giving the new kid a little advice!" Charlie Tweeted with a photo of himself talking to Ashton. He then added, "Great talking to you! We'll all be watching! Make us proud!"
