Charlie Sheen Talks Again and Says, "I'm Underpaid!"

He has been pretty vocal these days so is it any surprise Charlie Sheen appeared on TV this morning to dish about his recent behavior, sobriety and his show? He says he has never shown up to the set drunk and get this — the highest paid actor in television wants a raise! (Gulp.) Find out more after the jump!

In an exclusive interview on Today, Charlie adamantly indicated sobriety on the set at all times. So, has he ever shown up to the set drunk? "Never once, never once. Never loaded, never drunk, nothing on the set, no." After saying his passion is sometimes misunderstood for anger, he also talked about getting sober at the "Sober Valley Lodge" (a.k.a. his house) and indicated its "primary client achieved radical success." He added, "I closed my eyes and made it so with the power of my mind," he explained. "I know my own truth and that's what I stand on right now." He also called the founder of Alcohol Anonymous a "broken down fool."

And how about hearing the network's decision last week to end this season of Two and a Half Men? "Everybody else will be begging me for their job back," he noted. The actor earning almost $2 million each episode wants a raise to the tune of $3 million! "At this point because of psychological distress," he said. "After what they put me through....I'm underpaid right now. Yeah, it's ridiculous. I'm tired of pretending like I'm not special."

Plus, Charlie mentioned he and the execs at CBS are in a "deadly war." He mentioned, "They are trying to destroy my family. Defeat is not an option." In case you're wondering how exactly they're destroying his family, he said they're trying to take all of his money and give him "no means to support my family."

At that point he whipped out index cards to ask Chuck Lorre why there wasn't a script ready to shoot when he was ready to return to work, among other questions. Charlie told the interviewer he's ready to fight the network with "zeal and focus and hatred" and that he has no apologies for statements he made the past few days. If anything, he said they owe him an apology! "They owe me a big one, publicly while licking my feet."
