It didn't take the former Two and a Half Men star too long to land back on his feet in primetime. Charlie Sheen just received word that his comeback comedy, Anger Management, will air on FX. The series will begin airing next summer and will be paired up with — you guessed it: Men reruns.
If the first 10 episodes do well in the ratings another 90 will be ordered, as pointed out by The Hollywood Reporter. Apparently three networks bid on the show and FX was the top winner.

As for his role? Charlie will play a therapist who is loosely based on Jack Nicholson's character in the movie of the same name, Anger Management.
According to Access Hollywood, John Landgraf, the president and general manager of FX Networks stated, "We think that Bruce Helford, Joe Roth and Charlie Sheen have come up with a wonderful, hilarious vehicle for Charlie's acting talents — and a character we are very much looking forward to see him play."
