GLAAD is launching a new anti-gay bullying campaign tonight featuring none other than Chaz Bono and Jersey Shore star Vinny Guadagnino! The campaign, Amplify Your Voice, features video public service announcements to stamp out bullying once and for all.
In one of the public service announcements, a guy talks about being bullied since the third grade. According to E! News, then Shay Mitchell from Pretty Little Liars asks, “How would you feel if others treated you like you didn’t belong at school, on your sports team, at church or even in your own home?
Wearing a dark suit, Vinny says, “Millions of gay and transgender youth are made to feel like they don’t fit in everyday.”
Naya Rivera from Glee urges people to reach out for help and then Chaz adds, “”You have the power to make a difference.”
They’re not the only celebs featured in the campaign. Kristin Chenoweth, Rashida Jones, Amy Poehler, Tori Spelling and Modern Family’s Ariel Winter are also part of Amplify Your Voice.
