Nashville and Pretty Little Liars gals are teaming up for a new cartoon movie! No, it's not a spinoff flick incorporating a country music star and a mysterious character named A (although that could be sort of interesting, right?), but a tribute to the 80s cartoon, Jem and the Holograms!
Who will you be seeing on the big screen? Audrey Peeples, who plays the character Layla Grant in Nashville and also had a role in last summer's hit, Sharknado, will be the star of the film, taking on the lead role of Jem. The news was announced on the film's Tumblr! The Pretty Little Liars celeb joining the cast is Aurora Perrineau, who will be playing the role of Shana. This is kind of a huge deal for today's TV fiends.
The remainder of the Hologram girls includes Stefanie Scott playing Kimber and Hayley Kiyoko playing Aja.

The original Jem and the Holograms series, which was created based off of a Hasbro toy, aired in 1985 and ended in 1988. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the new movie will be centered around Jem, much like the original, and her band. The new plot line is said to consist of an teenage orphan (Jem) who transforms into a hit recording artist and goes on a musical scavenger hunt journey with her sisters. However, the movie will be made to match the young technological generation of today.
