Chelsea Clinton joins the ranks of political daughters such as Jenna Bush Hager and Meghan McCain who work for Today and MSNBC, respectively. Chelsea has been hired as a full-time special correspondent for NBC News! She'll focus on stories for the "Making a Difference" feature on NBC Nightly News.
According to RadarOnline, the 31 year-old issued a statement and paid homage to her late grandmother, Dorothy Rodham, who passed away earlier this moment. "I hope telling stories through Making a Difference — as in my academic work and nonprofit work — will help me to live my grandmother's adage of 'Life is not about what happens to you, but about what you do with what happens to you.'" It looks like her employment begins immediately, as in today! As reported by The New York Times, today will be her first day on the job. Steve Capus, president of NBC News, initially asked the former first daughter what she's interested in doing and she told him during her mother's campaign in 2008 she was moved by stories of people making personal contributions. Good luck, Chelsea!
