Mother Cher is coming to her son Chaz Bono's defense on Twitter against haters who are unhappy Dancing With the Stars is featuring a transgender contestant, calling them "stupid bigots."

Chaz is the first transgender contestant to be on Dancing With the Stars and not all fans of the show are happy about that.
"lovelies! Chaz is Being Viciously Attacked on Blogs & Message boards about being on DWTS!" Cher Tweeted. "This is Still America right ? It took guts 2 do it."
The legendary singer than added, "I support him no matter what he chooses 2do! God! will there always be haters! It took COURAGE 2 do dwts ! TG Chaz has an Unlimited supply."
But Cher would also like her son to have even more support for doing the show.
"Can u guys check out sites & give him your support ? BTW ...Mothers don't stop Getting angry with stupid bigots who fk with their children !" she wrote. "bet VAST MAJORITY of People will LOVE CHAZ on DWTS ! & it's took Fkg Guts 2! Chaz isn't exactly the "Gotta Dance Gotta Dance" kinda Guy."
