Mother Monster has left the building! Chevonne, a former backup singer for Lady Gaga, is trying to make it on her own.
Last night during The Voice, she participated in the final round of blind auditions. After singing The Pretenders' classic "Brass in Pocket," Chevonne got kudos from Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton. And she and Cee Lo totally bonded.
He told her, "I feel the pain in your voice. I could relate to you because I have written, on many occasions, from a painful place, and there is a way to overcome it."
