“I’m beginning to feel my jaw and chin,” Charla told Today, though she's still to weak to give an interview. “And I can move my mouth and smile. I still feel weak. But little by little I’m getting stronger.”
Charla underwent the surgery in May receiving a full face and double hand transplant. Unfortunately, complications surfaced with her hands and they had to be removed again.
