Three years later and Chris Brown is now ready to return to the Grammys. In 2009, Chris' career almost ended after he assaulted his then-girlfriend Rihanna at a pre-Grammys party. This year, Chris will not only be attending, he'll be performing.

According to The Associated Press, the Recording Academy announced on Tuesday that Chris will perform this Sunday.
The 22-year-old singer is serving 5 years of probation after admitting to assaulting Rihanna before the show three years ago.

Rihanna is also set to perform at the Grammys this year with Coldplay. She has been nominated for four awards while Chris has been nominated for three.
Taylor Swift, Adele, Katy Perry, Paul McCartney, Foo Fighters, Bruno Mars, Kelly Clarkson, Jason Aldean and Nicki Minaj are also set to perform on Sunday.
