Chris Watts Moved To New Prison For Safety: 'He Is The Most Hated Father In America!'
Nov. 22 2020, Updated 4:48 p.m. ET
America’s most hated dad, Chris Watts will spend the rest of his days in prison after confessing to the killings of his pregnant wife and their two daughters. And while the victims’ family members are content with his final sentence, experts on the case are still bewildered by the horrific facts behind the murders.
In Dylan Howard’s podcast, “All Rise,” media professionals divulge exclusive details about the case and share shocking recently-released audio from the killer himself.
Nik Hatziefstathiou, a national correspondent at RadarOnline.com who reported on the tragic case starts off by sharing top-secret information about the criminal’s whereabouts. He says that Chris, 33, got picked up from his Colorado prison cell by federal marshals late Monday night and transferred to an unknown location for security purposes.
“The source noted that he is the most hated father in America. So no matter where they put him it’s going to be a tough ride for him, and they don’t think that the state prison in Colorado has the resources to protect him and other prisoners for those who might want to target him,” says Hatziefstathiou.
“As of right now he’s still on the road with marshals and we don’t know where he’s heading. They’re not releasing any information,” he continues, adding that while the prison informed the victims’ family about the move, they will not disclose the location until Chris and those transporting him arrive there safely.
OK! readers know that after a days-long investigation, Chris pled guilty to the murders of his wife, Shannan Watts, 34, and their two daughters, Bella, 4, and Celeste, 3. He also admitted that Shannan was 15 weeks pregnant at the time of the killings.
In a recently released tape from Chris Watts’ police questioning, the child-killer is heard saying that after going on vacation with Shannan, he fell out of love with her and felt a big “disconnect” between them. He also suggested that she might be cheating on him but claimed he would never be unfaithful to her. But as readers know, Radar broke the news that Chris had two mistress whom he spent much time with in the weeks leading up to his family’s murder. Investigators quickly identified both women and noted that Chris’ unhappy marriage may have been what triggered his horrific murder spree.

“The police files revealed two separate mistresses. The first one was Nichol Kessinger, who had been carrying on an affair with Chris for a few weeks and came forward to them to say that she had had an affair with him when she saw that he’d killed his family on the news,” says Andy Tillett, the news director at RadarOnline.com.
“So when the police were questioning Chris about whether he had had an extra-marital affair and he said ‘no,’ they already knew that he had actually been seeing somebody else because she’d volunteered that information to them,” he adds.
On “All Rise,” Tillett also speaks about the fact that Chris FaceTimed his mistress from his bedroom after dumping his children’s dead bodies in oil tanks and burying his wife in a shallow grave near his job.
His plot quickly began to fail, however, as hours after the killings he was confronted by his neighbors and local police who asked him about Shanann’s whereabouts. At that moment, they showed the crazed killer surveillance footage from outside his neighbor’s home, which showed him loading up his pickup truck and driving away with the bodies of his wife and children.
“He starts sweating and he’s visibly restless,” says Hatziefstathiou on the podcast, adding that at that point, Chris seemed to realize that it was all over for him. And sure enough, just 12 hour later, he was behind bars.
Concluding the segment, Dylan Howard and Andy Tillett point out that it was Chris’ “clumsy killing” what likely prompted him to cooperate with police and accept a polygraph test so quickly. By the time he had murdered his family and hid their bodies in the early morning hours of August 13, he had already been caught!
Now, Chris Watts will spend his remaining days in prison, as he’s been given three consecutive life sentences with no possibility of parole.
