The Voice premiered on NBC Sunday night after the Giants beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl, and it wasn't just an hour filled with turning chairs, singing contestants and judges' banter.

It was also the time for a reunion: One of the contestants was a guy from Christina Aguilera's past. Don't go there; there was no romance drama.

Singer Tony Lucca was the final contestant of the night, and he also starred on the '90s hit The Mickey Mouse Club with Christina (the show also featured future stars Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and Ryan Gosling). The question was: Would Christina remember him?

Tony sang Ray LaMontagne's "Trouble," and it was such a great performance that it had all the judges pushing their buttons. But even with Tony's name being said twice, Christina had no recollection at all of her former castmate.

She said, "It does take a true talent to jolt us out of our seats and make us push our buttons, so thank you for that, first of all. You have such a beautiful, silky quality to your tone, and I appreciate you making us all push our buttons.”

A nervous Tony never said anything while he was onstage, so when Christina came to see him backstage after realizing who he was, it was an awkward reunion. “I remember Britney had the biggest crush on you,” she told Tony. “She won’t mind me saying that.”

Did Christina really remember, or did someone on the production have to clue her in? Are you hoping Tony makes it far?
