Christina Aguilera Out to End Hunger

July 15 2009, Published 11:53 a.m. ET
Moving one step farther away from her party girl past and closer toward Angelina Jolie-like sainthood, Christina Aguilera was named global spokesperson for World Hunger Relief earlier today.
According to a press release, the pop star and mother of 1-year-old Max will help to raise awareness of the problem of hunger around the world by appearing in print ads and a public service announcement, which she's currently filming.
