Christina Applegate Will Return to 'Saturday Night Live' After Nearly 20 Year Absence

Everything old is new again over at Saturday Night Live! Not that we're calling Christina Applegate old, after all, but she has been in the business since she was a teen!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Up All Night star will host SNL on October 13 -- a significant milestone this year since she hasn't hosted since 1993! (Okay, more like 19 years but who's counting?)

The musical guest for her evening will be Passion Pit. The following week Bruno Mars won't only serve as a musical guest, but he'll host the show as well! He'll follow in the footsteps of talented performers Mick Jagger and Justin Timberlake who have masterfully performed both duties.

As for this Saturday, Daniel Craig will host SNL and Muse will be the musical guest. Live from New York, it's Saturday night!
