Chuck Bass Fleeing the Upper East Side? Ed Westwick Wants Out

While sparks seem to be flying between Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) and Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley), we still long for a Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick) intervention and just Chuck in general. But some sad news to report on Gossip Girl — Chuck may be fleeing the Upper East Side for good as it seems Ed has had enough!

Ed is reportedly tired of portraying his character on the hit CW show, as he recently told British magazine Tatler, via MTV News, that he doesn’t feel connected to the role anymore and is "ready to do something else."

But luckily the cast is under contract for another two years, meaning Ed can't flee just yet. And what would the show be without the conniving Chuck Bass?
