Cloris Leachman brought the house down at a press conference for her new FOX show by dissing Betty White. The zany comedienne, who shot back to fame during her Dancing With the Stars stint, was asked if she wants to be the senior "it girl," like Betty.
"I'm so sick of Betty White," Cloris cracked. "I never liked her."

But Cloris, who was promoting her upcoming Fox show Raising Hope, on which she plays a white trash grandma, clarified after the press conference that it was a joke. "I love Betty White. She's darling. It's just odd to be teamed in your 80s, teamed because you're the same age."

When asked if she'd do Saturday Night Live, Cloris said, "I would if they asked me, but nobody's asked me."

Meanwhile, Betty and Cloris, who appeared on the Mary Tyler Moore Show together, will both be in the movie You Again. "They rewrote the ending so I could be in it," Cloris told reporters. "I just did my scene with her. I admire her very much."
