Colin Farrell Didn't Like Kissing Kate Beckinsale in 'Total Recall'

Kate Beckinsale is considered to be one of the most beautiful actresses in Hollywood, so who wouldn't enjoy kissing her? Her Total Recall costar Colin Farrell — well not in front of her husband anyways!

While promoting the new film, Colin chatted with Conan O'Brien Monday night and explained the awkward situation.

"She's actually the director's wife. She's married to the director. It was moderately uncomfortable... Kissing her was a little bit dodgy 'cause the director, her husband, wasn't kind enough to leave the room. Being a director he had to watch the scene. It's a little bit creepy," he laughed.

Kate's husband Len Wiseman had them do the kissing scenes a few times, but, "The one thing he didn't say is,' Colin I think you should give it some more,'" the star joked.

Colin may have been extra cautious about working with his director's wife, but Len admits how challenging watching Kate in love scenes can be. The two worked together before on a previous movie and Len admitted, "It’s amazing how much your blood boils immediately if you call cut and it doesn’t stop right way. On Underworld I was being very polite and they didn’t hear me. You’ve got to stop when I call cut. So now I make a point of having a megaphone during love scenes."
