Colleague Speaks Out About Dr. Frank Ryan's Sudden Death

The news of Hollywood plastic surgeon Frank Ryan's tragic death has shocked many. The doctor responsible for Heidi Montag's total transformation died from blunt force trauma Monday after his Jeep rolled down a cliff of Pacific Coast Highway. One of his close colleagues has released a statement to OK!, commending Ryan's character.
"Dr. Frank Ryan was a top tier plastic surgeon. His was held in high regard within the Beverly Hills and medical community at large. His skill and precision, as well as his care and concern for his patients truly made him a plastic surgery icon. He was much loved by his patients and staff and will sadly be missed by all," Ryan's colleague Dr. Lawrence Koplin told OK! in a statement.

Ryan had operated on many famous Hollywood stars including Heidi, Gene Simmons, Shauna Sand, Vince Neil and Adrianne Curry.
A candlelight vigil will be held by family, friends and colleagues for Dr. Ryan tonight in Malibu.

Heidi took to her Twitter to express her condolences, love and respect for the deceased plastic surgeon.
