
Comedian Gallagher Suffers Heart Attack And Now in Medically Induced Coma

Gallagher, better known as the comedian known specifically for smashing watermelons, is "slowly recovering" this morning after having a heart attack. In fact, right now he's in an induced coma.

Just before he was supposed to perform at a Texas club on Wednesday night, the comedian was taken to a local hospital by paramedics. Well, now it sounds like he's in a medically induced coma and is hopefully on the road to recovery.

His manager told The Huffington Post that he's expected to remain in the coma until sometime today in order to relax and recover.

She added, "His family is with him and Hat Tricks has been unbelievable with the help and support with everything." His upcoming shows in Texas, Oklahoma and Oregon have been postponed.
