Comic-Con premiered the red-band trailer for Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan's new action film, Drive, and it's a huge departure from Ryan's Crazy, Stupid, Love.
The Nicolas Winding Refn film really gives "action thriller" a whole new meaning.
According to Movieline, Ryan plays a Hollywood stuntman by day and getaway driver by night. He falls in love with a young mother (Carey), but her husband just got out of jail and needs help with one final job.
In the trailer, Ryan makes driving gloves both sexy and scary at the same time, and brings down the hammer — literally!
Drive also stars Bryan Cranston, Ron Perlman, Christina Hendricks, Oscar Isaac and Albert Brooks.
Drive is set to be released Sept. 16!
