NEWS'Conan the Barbarian' Star Jason Momoa Got Into Character by Looking at Naked Women

Jason Momoa took his lead role in Conan the Barbarian very seriously and worked really hard to get into character — by looking at pictures of naked women!

"For Conan, you really had to get into this role of being a barbarian. You took that very seriously," Conan O'Brien explained on his show, Conan, last night. "As an actor, you went out of your way every morning before shooting to build up your testosterone as much as possible, I'm told. How did you do that?"
"I listened to a lot of heavy metal," Jason said. "And I decorated my mirror with all of these Conan pictures and then also just naked women — everywhere."
"My wife wasn't there in the first couple months," he explained. "So it just builds up all that testosterone. You can't release the testosterone, so it's just like, 'I want to kill something.' You're like, 'Give me my sword!' "

Jason is happily married to the beautiful Lisa Bonet and has two children.
"But you're away from her," Conan says. "So you're looking at a lot of pictures of naked women, and that's what we're seeing. When we are seeing Conan, we're seeing a guy who is just filled with sexual frustration."
"Conan is extremely sexually frustrated," Jason agrees. "That's why the sex scene only lasts a couple of seconds!"
