Conan O'Brien may be leaving NBC behind, but not without the loyal followers he created. One of the points that still needs negotiating between the late night host and NBC  is who will walk away with Triumph the Insult Comic Dog and other characters Conan has created and incorporated into his skits throughout the years.

Conan may have to drop the characters, which include Triumph, the Pimpbot 5000 and the Masturbating Bear, in lieu of other aspects of his exit agreement with NBC, but is willing to make a stink, according to TMZ.

Sources told TMZ that Conan and NBC are "close" on his Tonight Show exit agreement, but he wants to bring his characters to his next TV ventures, and NBC might give in if Conan agrees to other terms specified in the agreement.

One of these terms may require the talk show host to limit (stop) his trash talking of NBC, TMZ reports.

Conan's departure from NBC was confirmed Saturday, with Jay Leno moving back to his original time slot.
