With rumors circulating that Conan O'Brien will pen a deal with FOX as part of the next step in his career, Conan's manager has confirmed that the former Tonight Show host and ginger comedian has not signed to any network just yet.
"He is not even close to signing a new contract," Gavin Polone, Conan's manager, told FOX 411. "I don't know where that's all coming from. We've met with a few places and been in talks, but nothing is even near being finalized."

After leaving NBC earlier this year, Conan, 46, must wait until at least September to launch a late-night show on a different network.
He is currently turning down work!
"We've had so many different offers for different things. Conan has been offered all sorts of movie roles, but we’ve had to say no because with the tour there just isn’t time for it," Polone said.

Conan is focused on preparing for his national comedy tour, which begins in Oregon on April 12.
The funnyman wants to stay close to his work family, and he's even been paying staffers from his own pocket to keep them on board until he finds a new network home, Polone told FOX 411.
"Everything is going extremely well; it's all excitement right now," Polone added. "And the loyalty of his fans has just been amazing."
