NEWSConfirmed: Ashlee Simpson to Star in Broadway's 'Chicago'

Confirming an earlier report from OK!, it was announced today that Ashlee Simpson-Wentz will be making her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in the Tony Award-winning musical Chicago.
Ashlee played the role of Roxie Hart in London's West End production of Chicago in 2006.
She will now take on the role again for a ten-week limited engagement at the Ambassador Theatre starting Monday, Nov. 30 through Sunday, Feb. 7.

"I'm honored to be reprising my role as Roxie Hart, returning to the stage and joining this amazing cast," Ashlee said. "Being on Broadway is a childhood dream come true."
