David Cook had thought that he would have to battle for the American Idol title tonight without his terminally ill brother in the audience.
It seemed that Adam's illness and the huge expense of hiring a special medically equipped airplane would mean that he would have to watch show from 2000 miles away in Terra Haute, In..
But Extra is reporting that Adam, 36, who is undergoing chemotherapy for his second diagnosis of brain cancer, will be making his second trip to L.A. to see his little bro perform in the finale against David Archuleta.

According to Extra's sources, the former lawyer flew in to California yesterday morning accompanied by a nurse.
Adam is will also be there to root for his brother when the results are announced tomorrow night.
Before his last visit in April, doctors told Adam that he was too sick to fly, so the local community rallied around to charter a Lear jet to L.A. at a cost of around $80,000.
