Could 'Jersey Shore' Cast Be Replaced?

If the Jersey Shore cast members don't accept MTV's latest pay offer for the second season of the hit show they will be replaced — as soon as the end of the day — according to reports.
Sources tell TMZ the network has warned the cast that if they don't accept MTV's deal by end of business on Monday, they will be let go.
However, MTV has no compunction about replacing certain cast members and leaving others, depending on who accepts their new salary offer.
MTV offered each cast member a $10,000 signing bonus and $5,000 per episode, says TMZ. However, the cast rejected the offer and made it clear they would all stand together and hold out for their price.
Although the network came back with a new offer of $10,000 an episode, for a total of 12 episodes in the season, the cast hasn't responded.
MTV reportedly already has replacements if the show's stars, including Snooki, Pauly D, The Situation, JWoWW and Sammi Sweetheart don't take the offer.

With Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and Paul "Pauly D" Del Vecchio being the most hard-headed about negotiatons, there's a chance we won't see them on the next season of the show.
