With a very successful first season of Cougar Town underway, Courteney Cox Arquette opens up about her real-life experience marrying a younger man.
“My husband is seven years younger than me. I can’t imagine dating anyone my own age,” Courteney revealed to Radar Online of her hubby David Arquette on Friday.

The 46-year-old former Friends star, who has been happily married for ten years, also took the time out to explain why she thinks younger men like older women.

“At my age, it’s still young enough,” Courteney told Radar Online while at a Paley Fest event, “The experience and knowledge and the overall confidence that an older woman has is attractive to younger men."

Courteney plays a single mom who can’t get enough of younger men on her ABC sitcom, which will soon see special guest star Cheryl Crowe.
The actress and her 38-year-old husband have one daughter together, Coco, 6.
