It's always nice when friends become lovers, but we also love it when lovers become friends! And that seems to be the case for Courteney Cox and David Arquette. The duo celebrated Courteney's 48th birthday together with lunch in Malibu, Calif.

Although David officially filed for divorce from Courteney on June 12 (the couple had been separated since October 2010), it's clearer than ever that these two still have a ton of love and respect for one another — which is especially awesome because they have an 8-year-old daughter, Coco. What an excellent example they are setting!

Courteney and David have worked together professionally since their separation, and both have spoken publicly about their bond and the lack of bitterness involved with their split, so this isn't really a surprise. But, it's still great to see two celebs separate so classily!
