Courteney Cox's Broadway Moment!

You know how I love my Broadway!
So I was tickled green to learn that Friends alum Courteney Cox went to see Shrek: The Musical when she was in New York City last week.
She and her husband, David Arquette, took daughter Coco and three friends to the Jan. 21 evening show, and I got the scoop from their backstage visit from Shrek star, Brian Darcy James.
"It’s best if people come when the Shrek makeup is fresh," Brian tells the TV Fanatic. “They were very kind and accommodating.”
As for Coco, 4, seeing the life-sized ogre, Brian says, “She didn’t flinch. It was great.”
Just the day before, the family had been in Washington D.C. to witness the Inauguration ceremony of the nation’s 44th President, Barack Obama.
“They were very excited about it. Courteney showed off pictures she had taken there on her cell phone,” Brian shares.
Inside the theater, Courteney got her own Broadway moment, courtesy of the cast.

“Christopher Seiber, who plays Lord Farquaad, has some leeway on some of the lines. He can change the name he calls his assistant on stage,” Brian explains. “In a homage to Courteney, he named his assistant Monica.”
Needless to say, I'm thoroughly jealous!
