The Bachelor has been turned upside down. First, Brad Womack had to convince this season’s contestants that he’s not the same heartbreaker he was when he dumped both season 11 finalists, DeAnna Pappas and Jenni Croft. But now, amid revelations of a criminal past, Brad’s love story is in danger of falling apart, and he’s the one who might find himself picking up the pieces of a broken heart. And the stakes couldn’t be higher, because this time around, he found “the one.” In an exclusive interview with OK! in this week's issue, Brad reveals he hopes there are wedding bells in his future.
“I’m sure I wouldn’t be the first to admit that I had a couple of missteps when I was a teenager — some 20 odd years ago,” Brad, 38, tells OK! of his mistakes (including public intoxication, forgery and writing a bad check). “Some of the claims have been blown out of proportion, but I took responsibility for my actions and took immediate measures to remedy the situation. It was just part of my growing pains back when I was still young and naive. You learn from your experiences good and bad, and you move on.”
