Cover Story: Brit Doesn't Want Her Boys Back

While Britney Spears may be filing emergency motions to spend more time with her kids, it seems like her deeds aren’t living up to her words.

As reported in the new issue of OK! — on newsstands now — the pitiable pop star is happier without her kids and indeed secretly does not want to get them back. All of which was confirmed this morning when the disgraced superstar chose to sleep in on her court date rather than fight for custody in person.

According to reports, Brit needed to be in court this morning at 8:30 a.m. for an emergency hearing that her lawyers requested in a last-ditch effort to pretend to the world that the troubled mom wants to spend more time with Sean Preston, 2, and 1-year-old Jayden James. However, Brit was a no-show after partying in Marina del Rey at 2 a.m., before ultimately making a weepy stopover at her mother’s nearby condo.

In this week's OK!, Britney tells a friend, “I don’t give a s**t anymore. I never wanted them in the first place.”

And at the rate she’s going, she’ll get exactly what she wanted.
