Cover Story: Britney's Heartbreaking Rejection

In the new issue of OK! — on newsstands everywhere Thursday — hunky model John Coulter, who caused a scandal when he posed as a naughty priest with Britney Spears for the inside artwork of her latest CD Blackout, talks exclusively to OK! about what did and didn't happen on the set of the photo shoot with the troubled pop star.

“There was definitely chemistry,” the 6'2" Arizona native tells OK!. “Those pictures were pretty tame! There were a few other crazy ones.”

And according to a friend of Britney, the single mother of two definitely felt that chemistry flowing in both directions. “She was flirting with him the whole time! She asked if he had a girlfriend and what sexual position he liked... They did share a few kisses on set, for the camera — and a few that weren’t!”

But when Brit invited John back to the Four Seasons Hotel later that night, the 20-something model declined. “He said he didn’t want to get mixed up in it all,” explains the friend, alluding to stories of Britney’s bizarre behavior and late-night boozing. “She couldn’t believe she was turned down.”

For his part, John tells OK!, “She’s going through a lot, and some of it she does bring on herself.”
