The CW Unveils Steamy 'Vampire Diaries' Ad Featuring Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev & Paul Wesley

It's been a long, hard summer for fans of The Vampire Diaries, but summer will end in a few weeks.

The CW hit shocked fans when it was revealed in the season finale that Elena had become a vampire, and viewers have been waiting all summer to see what happens next.

Well to tide everyone over until the big premiere in October, The CW has released this steamy ad of show's stars: Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley. 

How hot is this shot? As part of a new campaign, advertisements for the network's lineup will be all about TVNow and SeducTV. Because, honestly, when are you not seduced by the hotness of these actors?

"One of the things that we kept hearing was that this is a generation of people who say, 'I know what I want, when I want it, how I want it, and I want it now,' " says CW executive VP marketing and digital programs Rick Haskins tells The Hollywood Reporter. "We wanted this to be emblematic of who we are for them, and we are TV now."
