Forget Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson locking lips in New Moon, Kristen has a far more controversial make-out session in her upcoming movie The Runaways: She shares a steamy kiss with Dakota Fanning!
“Yes, it happens in The Runaways,” Dakota told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson of their onscreen smooch.
“Was it a passionate kiss?” Shaun asked.
“Yeah. We’re playing Joan Jett and Cherie Curie and they’re best friends in the film and became really close in real life,” Dakota says. “And that’s something that went down back in the ‘70s.”

According to the 15-year-old, the kiss wasn't difficult to prepare for since, she says “we were so into the scene and into the script and the characters.”
Despite playing BFFs in the rock biopic, there's no love lost between the actresses in the vampire sequel: Dakota plays Jane, the angelic-looking bloodsucker, who wishes Kristen's Bella dead.
