Before there was Beverly Hills, 90210, The Real Housewives or the Kardashians, there was Dallas, the famed soap-opera-like drama about a rich oil magnate, J.R. Ewing, and his back-stabbing family.

The show aired from 1978-1991, and seeing as Hollywood loves nothing more than a comeback, TNT has decided to revive the series for a second run, starting tonight. Except there's a twist: three of the original cast members remain.
Larry Hagman (J.R. Ewing), Patrick Duffy (Bobby Ewing) and Linda Gray (Sue Ellen Ewing) signed on after not seeing each other since 1998, when they wrapped the third of the three Dallas-inspired movies.
"We consider this season to be Year 14. It’s as if you just stopped watching for a while but we kept filming," Patrick told The Daily Beast.

"The interesting thing it’s how we felt when we went back there," replied Linda. "It was almost like we’d been there a month ago and we just picked right up again. It was so easy."
