We don't think Dane Cook is laughing right now. His half brother and former manager has been sentenced to five years behind bars for embezzling millions from him.

Dane's brother, Darryl McCauley, was sentenced to five years after pleading guilty to 27 counts of larceny over $250, three counts of forgery, embezzlement and other chargers, NBC New York reports.
McCauley, 45, even reportedly wrote himself a check for $3 million from Dane's account. He acted as Dane's business manager from the early 1990s until December 2008, but reportedly began taking from Dane's personal account in 2004.

“For several years, Mr. McCauley abused his position as a family member to gain Mr. Cook’s trust, and stole millions of dollars for his own personal gain,’’ Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley said in a statement. “We hope that today’s sentence will act as a deterrent, and our office will continue to investigate and prosecute these cases.’’

McCauley will have to serve 10 years probation after he is released from jail and make restitution to his 38-year-old brother Dane.
Dane has not commented on his brother's sentence, but did write something on his Twitter today that seems to be fitting.
