For anyone following Danica Patrick, a few days ago she was involved in a scary crash at the Gatorade 150 Duel.

OK! GALLERY: CELEBS GET EXCITED FOR THE ESPYS Well, what a difference a day makes! Merely 24 hours after the crash, Danica became the second woman in NASCAR history to win the pole position! According to Zap2it, she said, "I was thinking about how disappointing Thursday was and how happy you can be 24 hours later. I don't think about it from a girl perspective. I've been taught from a young age to want to be the best driver, not the best girl." VIDEO: WATCH DANICA PATRICK SCOLD JUSTIN BIEBER FOR LIKING "FAST WOMEN" AT 2011 ESPY AWARDS Sounds like the NASCAR driver has been dealing with a case of nerves lately. "I get much more nervous because I know my car is fast." She added, "And when you sit on the pole, you're the fastest car. So if you don't win the race, then I just wasted the fastest car. So yes, it adds a lot of pressure and now I feel nervous." This is all leading up to today's grand event, the Daytona 500! It will be broadcast today on FOX starting at noon ET.
