OK! GALLERY: CELEBS GET EXCITED FOR THE ESPYS Well, what a difference a day makes! Merely 24 hours after the crash, Danica became the second woman in NASCAR history to win the pole position! According to Zap2it, she said, "I was thinking about how disappointing Thursday was and how happy you can be 24 hours later. I don't think about it from a girl perspective. I've been taught from a young age to want to be the best driver, not the best girl." "I get much more nervous because I know my car is fast." She added, "And when you sit on the pole, you're the fastest car. So if you don't win the race, then I just wasted the fastest car.
