Daniel Radcliffe Reveals What It's Really Like Sharing a Bath With...Jon Hamm?

Ovation's A Young Doctor's Notebook and Other Stories pairs Daniel Radcliffe and Jon Hamm as the same character...only as the past and future versions of him, yet they still manage to have nearly every scene together. Confused? You'll have to watch to fully wrap your head around the British dark comedy (season two will premiere later this summer and season one episodes are available at ovationtv.com) but the series puts the two actors in very close quarters. Very close.

In season one Daniel and Jon found themselves sharing a tub together and needless to say the photo of the scene had the Internet yapping.
"I think we definitely knew that would be a shot to pique people's interest," Daniel told writers at the Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour Tuesday via satellite from New York. "The funny thing about that scene, actually, was that it wasn't a particularly funny scene. It was very much a scene where there's a lot of...a huge plot point in that episode is being established, and I think it's actually quite tragic. I think the writers will admit this as well, that they were very much going, 'This isn't a very funny scene. We need to do something to make it funnier. We'll put them in a bath.'"

Jon actually suggested Daniel for the role of his younger self, which flattered the Harry Potter star. He says working with Jon has been a blast.
"Jon is a very funny guy and sort of very irreverent," says the young actor. "We have a lot of fun. Doing the bath scene in the first series as soon as we both got in we were like, 'Oh man, this photo is going to go everywhere. We were aware of the bizarreness of the situation."
