David Arquette and Entertainment Tonight correspondent Christina McLarty have officially called it quits.

David Tweeted, "Sadly I'm single again. A long distance relationship proved to be too difficult."
Considering David lives in L.A. and Christina lives in NYC, it sounds like that was perhaps the main reason for the split.

She has been silent on Twitter about the breakup; they started dating last summer. In fact, this was David's first high profile girlfriend since separating from Courteney Cox in the fall of 2010!
As for Courteney, she's still single and told Howard Stern last month she's been celibate since breaking up with David. "I've not had a man since David," she told Howard. "I have sexual feelings, there's ways to deal with that."
