David Arquette Files for Divorce From Courteney Cox

After nearly a two-year separation, David Arquette has officially filed for divorce from his wife of 11 years, Courteney Cox

David filed papers in the Los Angeles Superior Court on June 8, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce, according to E! News. The Scream 4 star is asking for joint legal and physical custody of the couple's daughter, Coco, who turns eight years old tomorrow.

David and Courteney, who wed in June 1999, announced their separation in October 2010, but have remained close throughout their split. Not only did Courteney support David through rehab, but she was in the audience with Coco almost every Monday and Tuesday night as he competed on season 13 of Dancing With the Stars

David even made a cameo appearance on the season three finale of Courteney's TV show, Cougartown
